About me
Amy Patterson is Associate Chorus Director of A Cappella Showcase and Co-Section Leader of Harbourtown Sound. Amy sings Bass in the quartet “Sapphire”, which placed first in their area contest in May 2025. Amy also sings Lead in "Empire" quartet, and looks forward to competing with them in Denver this July. She is a certified Singing Judge and Singing Category Specialist with Harmony, Incorporated and travels across Canada and the US as an adjudicator and coach. Amy has served on the faculty of Harmony College West (Ontario), HIVE (Harmony Inc Virtual Education) and Harmony University (New Orleans, LA). Her most recent endeavor is as a music director with Young Voices, where she teaches young people the joy of singing. When she is not singing or coaching, Amy is a teacher in the Waterloo District School Board, specializing in French language instruction and music.
