About me
Barbershop and choral music have fascinated Lucas since his early childhood, and he has been in competitions multiple times (European male quartet champion 2013).
His work as a coach and lecturer is inspired by his training as a teacher for the Alexander Technique, a bodywork method for recognizing unfavorable habits, as well as his studies at the Lichtenberger Institute for Applied Voice Physiology. As a physicist with PhD, Lucas is an educated overtone enthusiast and incorporates his interest in natural science and technology into his courses.
Since 2023, he has been a certified BinG! (Barbershop in Germany) coach and has been faculty at several Harmony Colleges and Harmony University. He is a BHS candidate judge (Singing Category). As board member of the BinG! youth association, he passionately promotes youth development and the spread of this addictive hobby.
